Kidspace Children's Museum

On the first Tuesday of every month, the Kidspace Children's Museum in Pasadena offers free admission from 4-8 p.m. We have taken Blake here before (when he was about 3) and just learned of the free admission. The regular price is $10 for adults and kids so we decided to take up the deal and go last week. The kids had a great time. Those of you with little ones, this is a perfect place to take them. There is a lot of water play outside, so bring bathing suits or clothes to get wet in, a towel and they have to wear some type of shoes at all times (water shoes, sandals, etc.) I forgot to bring extra clothes for the kids and Blake and Amanda had tennis shoes on (bummer). There was other stuff to do there too and some fun climbing apparatus's inside that all my kids enjoyed climbing on. That evening we watched a little show prepared by a local children's theater (Beauty and the Beast). I would also suggest bringing something to eat there. We had a fun time and we will try to go back there again soon, this time better prepared.

Blake and Lauren rock climbing.

The kids in one of the climbing structures.

This was a fun area! Since Lauren was the only one with flip flops on, she could play in the water. You could walk up and down this stream into small open pools of water (about knee length on her) and play with buckets in the water.

The bike area. They have a section for the older kids and one for small toddler age children.

Blake went a little too fast around the track most of the time. See the crazed look in his face, at least he was in control and there weren't any crashes.
